In september 2000 the travel agency "Guaponi" and a Quichua family signed a contract with the federation of the Huaoranis (ONHAE) to build the Lodge in their territory. It is a community project, to build up a good working community with medical assistance and education. As our guests in the Lodge, you will be giving direct help to the Huaorani community of Gareno, since half of the entrance fee directly to the federation, benefiting all Huaoranis. | |

Day 3 - Very early in the morning we observe birds and mammals.
